Since 1911 the Hotel Jäger is owned and operated by the Jäger Family.

Our buffet breakfast

Buffet breakfast for early birds and late risers – enjoy seasonal delights from 7am to 10am!

We serve freshly brewed coffee and espresso from Julius Meinl Vienna, tea from Ronnefeldt Tea or hot chocolate, eggs à la minute, fresh fruit, cereals and crisp (wholemeal) bread to get you ready for an active day out.

Vegan and gluten-free breakfast as well as lactose-free milk and soy milk complete our offer.

All dishes on the buffet are carefully protected to ensure the hygiene.

In summer breakfast is also served on the garden-front terrace!

Our location in the district Hernals of Vienna

Our hotel is located directly next to the Hernals rapid transit station and tram station, in an ideal location for city tours and excursions in the Viennese Forest.

Tickets for the tram are available at our front office.

You can reach the city centre in only 15 minutes by tram 43.

Getting to Hotel Jäger

By car

From Westautobahn: first exit Vienna – turn left – Hüttelbergstrasse – Amundsenstrasse – turn right (towards Zentrum/Neuwaldegg) – Neuwaldeggerstrasse – straight ahead – Dornbacherstrasse – Hernalser Hauptstrasse – no 187 on the right hand side.

Short term parking parking system in Vienna from 9 to 22, hotel cards available at Euro 4,10 per day.

Garage – 2 minutes walking distance – at Euro 20.- per night, reservation recommended.

By train

Arriving at Vienna Central Station: bus 13A to Skodagasse – tram no. 43 towards Neuwaldegg – get off at Hernals – our house is within easy walking distance of the tram stop.

By airplane

Vienna/Schwechat airport:
We shall be glad to book your airport taxi (EUR 42.-) – just state your flight number, airport of departure and arrival time. The driver will pick you up at the airport.

By public transport:

take Schnellbahn S7 to “Handelskai”, change to S 45 to “Hernals”.
